Extruded aluminum heatsinks is a cost-effective option, highly automated, extruded heatsinks are often made of aluminum, allowing manufacturers to produce the fins and base as one continuous part. After extrusion process, CNC machining maybe applied to drill the thread and tap the hole and machining the flatness if needed.
