Heat Pipe Heat Sink with Zipper Fin
The most common heat pipe has a cylindrical cross-section with a wick on the inner diameter. The cold working fluid moves through the wick from the colder side (condenser) to the hotter side (evaporator) where it is vaporized. The vapors then move to the heat sink of the condenser, bringing heat energy. The working fluid condenses, releasing its latent heat in the condenser, and then repeats the cycle, continually removing heat from one part of the system.
The fins are made with aluminum material by stamping process, and folded into a shape with interlocking slots, then welded to the heat pipe. Folded fins can transfer high heat energy and are available in more than 3,000 different configurations.
As a heat sink manufacturer in China, Pioneer Thermal is certified with ISO9001, ISO14001 and TS16949, and has more than 18 years experience in heat pipe heat sink, CNC machining, cold forging heatsinks, cold plate heatsinks, die casting heatsinks, extrusion heatsinks, skived fin heatsinks, stacked fin heatsinks, folded fin heatsinks etc., Pioneer Thermal has own R&D team who can design and run simulation for you if you require design service, or assist your design team to improve the part feasibility from the manufacture point of view (design refine/process optimize/cost reasonable). If you need any heat sink service, please contact Pioneer Thermal.
