The air intake direction of the cold forged radiator is three-dimensional. Generally speaking, extrusion is two-dimensional, so as to better adapt to the environment and obtain better heat dissipation effect.
Pioneer Thermal cold forging heat sinks using high purity copper and aluminum in the shape of pin coolers meet the requirements in an optimum way.
Structural heterogeneity
The cold forging heat sink is cast by mold, and heterogeneous processing can be performed on the mold. A heterogeneous structure appears on the back of the substrate, which is better combined with the heating element!
Appearance
The radiator is made of aluminum, and the surface can be anodized, smooth and bright, or it can be sprayed with different colors of anode sandblasting (silver, white, black, etc.) according to customer needs. The surface of die-cast aluminum is rough and needs to be sprayed, which is not conducive to heat dissipation.
Structural design of cold forging water cooling plate
1. Material
Water cooling plate materials usually use aluminum, copper, stainless steel, etc., among which aluminum is widely used. Aluminum material has a low density and high thermal conductivity, second only to copper, and it is the cheapest among the three, so the product.
2. Sealing
The sealing methods of water cooling plates mainly include O-Ring sealing and welding. The O-Ring sealing method is suitable for small pressure conditions, and the high temperature resistance and aging resistance of the O-ring need to be considered, welding can make the entire cold plate form an integral whole, with high reliability and durability. Pioneer Thermal currently mainly provides welded water-cooled plates, and the welding methods include vacuum brazing, stir friction welding, etc.
Pioneer Thermal look forward to sharing expertise with you on your heat sink project.
